Ella Sophie’s really starting to show an interest in writing and drawing. She tries to spell out her name and ours, of couse she isn’t quite there yet .. afterall she’s only 2 & a half 
The letters are mostly just scribbling. The kindergarden has noticed her drawing out tiny shapes and while drawing, she calls out the letters. Little gold star for her development
(The big lines in the pic belongs to another child, Ella’s are the tiny little dots…haha).
But, she tries to say the letters and her willingness shows me that we can use more of our activity time on the alphabet.

It’s cool, isn’t it – to suddenly realise they’re ‘there’, at that place when you can only partially influence where they’re going (still a large chunk you can influence, but it’s easy to tell they’re moving forward on their own!).
